The votes are in… our previous attendees have been busy voting for their favourite new/small event suppliers over the last few weeks and we are delighted to announce that the winners of a free stand at the Show through our #StoryGivesBack initiative are:
Gastronomy Guys
Gastronomy Guys is a small, creative catering company that creates weird and wonderful experiences with food & drink. They offer both off-the-shelf experiences (called rigs) and completely bespoke creations for events. From nitrogen desserts to ‘dragons breath’ meringues, cocktail trikes to self-serve walkthrough cocktail experiences. They thrive on bringing wacky ideas to life with edible adventures that won’t be forgotten.
Gastronomy guys founder Robin Dunlop commented, “We’re so excited to be selected as this years’ winner of the #StoryGivesBack vote. It’s an amazing opportunity and one we’re looking forward to grabbing with both hands. Hopefully we’ll be able to repay those who’ve voted for us with some amazing theatrical treats and add a little Gastronomy Guys fun and entertainment to the show in January.”
Diversity Ally
Helping the events industry become more diverse and inclusive in its culture, people and image is at the forefront of what Diversity Ally are continually striving to achieve.
Diversity Ally provide bespoke workshops, DEI consultancy and offer strategic support by assessing and identifying D&I challenges, developing meaningful diversity and inclusion specific metrics, delivered with insights and recommendations. The team at Diversity Ally have created industry initiatives such as the ‘Diversity In Events Awards (April 2022)’ and ‘The People & Culture Show (2022)’ to further their mission for a diverse equitable, inclusive and accessible industry.
Diversity Ally co-founder Gabrielle Austen-Browne commented, “We are truly chuffed, to be voted as winners of #StoryGivesBack. For a new business, run by two women of colour in the event industry, it means alot that people care enough about the impact we are trying to make around Driving Diversity Through Events to vote for Diversity Ally. And more importantly, this opportunity means we will be able to share our mission and gather support with visitors at the London Summer Event Show.”
We had some fantastic event suppliers apply for this years’ initiative that we would also like to mention:
The Show has already attracted over 50 of the best event venue and suppliers and the list is still growing. If you would like to meet the above winning event suppliers and many more you can register today for a free ticket to attend the event.
