KEYNOTE: Atlantic Endeavoar – From Ordinary to Extraordinary

We are delighted to announce our keynote seminar for this year’s Show, which will take place in the Seminar Room on Wednesday 22nd March at 11am.

To attend this free seminar you need to register for your free Show ticket here.

The Atlantic Endeavour team share their experiences of their extraordinary 2022 row across the Atlantic, sharing the key learnings gained and how these can be applied to the challenges of planning and running events, including effective preparation, managing stress and operating effectively in small, tight-knit teams.

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is the world’s toughest rowing race – 3,000 miles unsupported rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, starting in La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain and finishing in Antigua & Barbuda

The team battled with sleep deprivation, salt sores, and the physical extremes inflicted by the race as they rowed over 1.5 million strokes on two hour shifts over their 34 days on the water.

Atlantic Endeavoar are a group of ordinary friends who had no previous adventuring experience. They rowed in aid of The Oli Hilsdon Foundation and Mind and the Show will be making a donation to both charities as our Official Charity Partner for 2023.
