Barbican featured on ‘The Apprentice’
The Barbican Conservatory, a tropical events space in the heart of London, containing finches, quails, exotic fish and over 2,000 species of plants and trees was recently featured on BBC1’s ‘The Apprentice’.
During the episode, the candidates were summoned by Lord Sugar to the event space and revealed their second task – to create and promote a new shampoo brand using the key ingredient, cactus-seed oil.
Protected by a glass roof and filled with tropical plants, the Barbican Conservatory was a perfect location for such a task.
To see the Barbican in all its glory, you can catch the episode on BBC IPlayer – but hurry, it’s only available for the next 18 days http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06jlg57/the-apprentice-series-11-2-advertising-cactus-shampoo
