BACKGROUND

We were working together as musicians for different agencies and bands. We then realised (with all our contacts and friends in the industry) we could do a much better job than most agents we were working for, because we know what it takes to look after our acts correctly, paying fast and giving top quality musicians to clients.

It all started in a coffee shop in Finchley!!

To be the best entertainment agency in London, to continue our steady growth as a new company and to be the 'go to people' for events and music curation!

LUMINARY BAKERY

We provide delicious artisanal baked goods that give back. From classic cakes or branded brownies, to mince pies and our signature cinnamon swirls - we bring the sweet treats that tell a story and get your guests talking. Every order creates tangible opportunities for women: perfect for an in-person event, or to send our letterbox treats for your virtual attendees!

BACKGROUND

Luminary is an innovative response to a need we saw for women who have had a social and economic disadvantage. We are a social enterprise designed to offer opportunities for women to build a future for themselves. We use baking as a tool to take women on a journey to employability and entrepreneurship, equipping them with transferable skills for the working world

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

Because 1 in 3 women globally experience gender-based violence, we want to be everywhere women need us and we have big ambitions! First up, is to be the nation's favourite cake provider...

THE IMPERFECT WOOD COMPANY

EVENT OFFERING

I make and supply wooden signage for events, such as, freestanding signposts, frames, planked signs, framed signs. All made from reclaimed wood and hand painted using eco-friendly paints (with the help of paper stencils). The emphasis is on being an eco-friendly company.

BACKGROUND

It began in 2011, originally under another name, however, following a really tough 2018, and my children losing their daddy to a brain tumour, I felt an immense desire to find a purpose! The Imperfect Wood Company was born. I wanted to make a difference, so I only use reclaimed wood and eco-friendly paints for my signs. I give back to Brain Tumour Research and a local holistic therapy business called Sunrise Wellbeing with every purchase. I have been branching out recently to supply event decor.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

I would love to grow the business steadily to enable me to take on staff and have a much bigger premises. I would like to raise as much as I can for Brain Tumour Research and Sunrise Wellbeing. I would also like to be known as the go to company for any eco-friendly signage for events.

QUIZ DOG

We provide the most entertaining, challenging and funny quizzes in London for pubs, corporate or private venues. We pride ourselves on tailoring each event to our client's needs whilst being great value for money to help maximise their goals. Whether that be team bonding, increasing footfall or simply the bragging rights for having the best quiz in the neighbourhood! All of our quizmasters are fully-trained in their craft and have backgrounds in acting, comedy, or broadcasting.

BACKGROUND

I was performing pub quizzes for many years before taking the plunge and creating my own company. I have a background in stand up and acting and make sure my quizmasters have similar training.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

With the quizzing side of the company, we would like to enhance our digital capabilities, increase the number of venues we work with, and increase the products for corporate services. We would also like to expand our events portfolio to encompass comedy, music, and tour guiding.

PALETTE & PAGE

At Palette and Page, we design and print bespoke Event Stationery - we work along side you, to create a colour palette & design that is unique to your event's concept. We believe that stationery is so much more than a piece of paper - it is the finishing touch to any event and the key to a personalised guest experience.

BACKGROUND

Palette and Page was originally a hobby that soon turned into a business! My love for all things creative has been a passion since I can remember... Having worked in the wedding and events industry in Cape Town, South Africa, I knew it was the industry I wanted to build my career in but I struggled to get a foot in the door when I moved to London. After working in London's corporate world for three years, lock down was the 'break' I needed & it inspired me to start Palette & Page.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

I hope to grow Palette and Page to a point where our designs are recognisable & well known within the UK events and wedding industry. My hope is to grow our social media platforms and become an account that not only provides a design service, but is also known for coaching similar small businesses.

CLUB VINO

Club Vino are wine tasting experts who provide fun and relaxed events, within London and around the UK. Guests will get the chance to sample amazing wines from boutique family owned wineries around the world at the same time as learning the enriching stories behind each bottle. Their mission is to deliver premium wine tasting experiences that leave a lasting impression on you and your guests as well as creating a room full of happy people for not only a perfect event but memories that will last forever.

Club Vino also offer a luxury, bespoke corporate gifting service, which is the perfect thank you for your clients, colleagues and staff.

BACKGROUND

Pre-pandemic we were hosting wine tasting supper clubs which all had to be cancelled due to Covid. During lockdown we decided to take the events online and sold wine tasting boxes along with a link to a pre-recorded video. This was a success and soon after, corporate clients started contacting us to host live virtual tastings. The business went from strength to strength during lockdown and now we are navigating the post lockdown world as a specialist wine tasting event company.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

To continue to grow and build our client database around the UK, hosting amazing wine tasting events and educating people about the drink they love, in a fun and relaxed manner.

SARA LOUISE

I draw humorous caricatures of guests which hopefully amaze and entertain and make lovely keepsakes of a special event which will be cherished.

BACKGROUND

After graduating from art school, I found work as an events caricaturist. I have always loved the variety of it, meeting people from all walks of life and being involved in their special occasions and life events.

FUTURE ASPIRATIONS

My business was devastated by the pandemic and my goal is to rebuild, create new contacts and basically get back on my feet.

FACTORY OF MAGIC

The Factory of Magic is the UK's only talent agency dedicated to the magical arts. We can offer a magician for any type of event.

BACKGROUND

The Factory of Magic was created as a result of the pandemic. Almost overnight. Almost overnight magicians, and all entertainers, saw all of their bookings go up in smoke. They could not go out and perform as performing in public was banned.

We saw livelihoods and entire careers vanish in an instant. This horrified me as I felt as though an entire artform was about to quite literally disappear. I asked myself what could be done. I had to step in and help...and so the Factory of Magic was born.

To become the number one agency for magicians in the UK and become the largest generator of work for magicians in the UK

BACKGROUND

With 25 years of experience in opening and running restaurants and hotels all over the world, HOMETAINMENT co-founder Antoine Melon is an expert in the art of hosting, or as he would say "L'Art de recevoir”.

Since coming to London, Antoine has put his global experience to use at Soho House and Artfarm (part of Hauser & Wirth art gallery). Alongside Antoine are the HOMETAINMENT team: Sandro, Nicolas, Mags & Guilherme who bring with them their wealth of experience.

I am a photographer who creates a beautiful bank of professional images to elevate your brand visibility. I photograph events for companies to keep a record for their staff and /or for businesses who want to promote their services/future events.

BACKGROUND

I worked for various companies like Lloyds Bank Securities Services, before I finally decided to turn my passion into a business in 2008, starting with photographing weddings and then events and personal brand photography

I would like to photograph more events in quirky places around the country, as well as events that focus around wellness.

THE UNCOMMON

We offer the highest quality English wine in cans, perfect for outdoor and indoor events where speed of service is essential, but without compromising on quality of service and product. We also have event solutions and can provide a set-up to fill spaces from 4m squared up to 150m squared.

BACKGROUND

The Uncommon was founded in 2018 by long-term friends Henry Connell and Alex Thraves, who quit their corporate jobs in New York and London respectively with a dream of creating a modern, sustainable English wine brand. Having seen the boom in canned wine in the US and the accolades received by English wine, they knew that it was time English wine followed suit – and so The Uncommon was born. Today, The Uncommon is the UK’s no.1 producer of English wine in a can.
