Tate is the home of British and Modern Art.
Tate Britain, a masterpiece of neoclassical architecture, is located on Millbank in Pimlico. Spanning over 500 years of British art, Tate Britain offers a stunning backdrop for events of up to 900 guests. Our light and airy Grand Saloon showcases Tate Britain’s striking architectural style while providing views of the River Thames through its large domed windows for receptions of up to 120. Home to Tate Britain’s annual contemporary site-specific commissions, our two grand 300-feet long Duveen galleries are split by the soaring arches of the central Octagon and make an impressive backdrop for largescale receptions and dinners.
Tate Modern is the UK’s most visited modern art gallery. Originally a magnificent power station, Tate Modern offers versatile spaces for between 10 to 1,200 guests. Our Level 10 Viewing Terrace sits atop of the Blavatnik Building, offering incredible panoramic views of London in a vibrant and elevated space, whilst our stylish and enviably positioned Members Bar in the Natalie Bell Building boasts two outdoor balconies with stunning views over the River Thames, an ideal location for a BBQ offering at a summer event.
In hosting your event with us, you choose to support Tate in achieving its mission to make art accessible to all. We celebrate the art of the past and present in its complexity and diversity, supporting its artistic risk taking and scholarship. We wish to share this vision with all our audiences, championing the importance of art and encouraging everyone to achieve their own creative potential.
