The Bloomsbury Big Top is an award-winning multipurpose event venue that opens over the Christmas season and never fails to amazing guests, it’s known for its iconic themes year after year such as Cirque Shanghai, Diamonds are Forever and The Greatest Show. Situated a stone’s throw away from Russell Square station, the Bloomsbury Big Top welcomes up to 2,500 guests into its three flexible function spaces: The Reception Area, Big Top and the Fountain Room.

As you walk into the venue from the busy streets of Bloomsbury you will be greeted from our Stilt Walkers and friendly staff who will take your coats and bags. Making your way through our draped passageway will reveal the lavish reception area fitted with luxurious sofas and hanging lighting pendants. Guests are welcomed into the reception room with a delicious glass of sparkling wine. With two bars to choose from guests will never be waiting for a drink throughout the event. The Big Top is a versatile space that can fit up to 650 for a dinner and dance, 1,200 for a reception and 1,000 in theater style. It has a state-of-the-art sound ceiling and dance floor which will keep the party in full swing throughout the night. The creative’s behind it all are the Awesome Group, known for hosting an extravaganza of performances from Arial acts, fire performances, stilt walkers and walk about magicians. Awesome have an extensive list of entertainment options to compliment the client’s ideas with their doors meeting the likes of Nile Rodgers, Stormzy and The Royal Family to name a few!
